Tuesday, March 26th - Gardens:  Growing Your Community

As the Spring growing season approaches, let’s discuss how our local community gardens are strengthening our communities. Please join us as we share our experiences to highlight the impressive array of benefits community garden education is having in our community. Most importantly, learn how you can get involved.


     Participate in PLACE gatherings and earn free Washington State approved clock hours. 3 clock hours available for every two sessions attended.

 Invite a friend and pass this along! No RSVP is necessary. 

What: This is a community of practice for all learners and educators in the Puyallup River Watershed. Join us to try new strategies to teach environmental education, find partnership opportunities, and work with peers to expand our reach and impact as educators. This community of practice is a part of the Environmental Education Community of Interest.       

Who: All who are interested in environmental education

When: 4th Tuesday of each month, 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Where: Tacoma Nature Center (1919 S. Tyler St in Tacoma)
