Join us to Practice, Learn And Connect to the Environment.
Tuesday, February 25th - Using LGBTQ+ Inclusive Language
Educators can unintentionally alienate LGBTQ+ learners when using certain terms for groups, individuals, and the concepts they teach. Together we will explore ways that this can happen, and then we’ll discuss a newly-developed inclusive language guide that includes a number of alternatives for some of the most commonly-used phrases.
